MANAUS – The beginning of the year symbolizes, for most people, the starting point of a new cycle. Plans, recovery of forgotten and shelved projects, diets, studies, trips and countless expectations for the dreams to come true and the year is, in fact, good and prosperous. CENARIUM listened to the saint father Ronald de Odé, also known as Gypsy, to find out what the shells show for 2022.

Ronald starts by saying that the year will be, once again, challenging. However, the important thing is not to lose faith and, if necessary, to release forgiveness. “In this year who will rule is Odu Obará and it is necessary to release forgiveness. It will be a period in which enemies will reveal themselves before directly attacking and shaking you, so it’s necessary to be careful with the people we help so that they don’t hurt you in any way”, he points out.

Besides the advice of self-care and protection, Cigano says that the cowrie shells show Oxalá appeasing times of war and guiding people to practice their faith. “By bringing peace, Oxalá shows his strength and warns that much friction and shaking is coming for humanity. But it also shows here that, with his spinning, Oxalá hits the ground and places a position of peace to calm the tribes and redeem people for faith, whatever it may be”, reveals father Ronald.

The babalorixá points out that Oxossi (orixá of the forest, hunting, abundance, and sustenance) enters the scene in 2022 to assist in prosperity and help those who suffered during the past year. The orixá, according to Ronald Odé, shows the way to the harvest and will act as a guide for those who are better off to open their eyes to help those in need.

Prediction for Amazonas

For the local political scenario, Cigano says that the cowrie shells predict serious conflicts and fights that involve the degradation of the Amazon and the lack of interest of Brazilians in the essential agenda of the country.

“The government is in crisis, there is a lack of communication between secretaries and the governor, and the Amazon is going through changes, various climate changes, sustainability, and water. A drop in international interest in the Amazon Rainforest. There is a lack of interest from the top of the Brazilians themselves in protecting the fauna. A certain war, a certain conflict of miners, activists and indigenous people, a big fight over land, involving even neighboring countries”, says Ronald.

Besides the possible conflicts revealed by the cowrie shells, Ronald also used the cards to predict the movements in the 2022 elections. According to him, the scenario will not be friendly either, however, he confirms the reelection of the current governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima, and new names elected in both the state and federal sphere.

“Possible attacks in the elections for lawmakers, president, and the army on the streets. It also shows people in uniform, infiltrated, causing certain friction, conflicts and attacks against people who are going to the election. In the letters they confirm the reelection of governor Wilson Lima, new names in politics in Amazonas, among federal and state lawmakers. This is the prediction for Amazonas in the card game”, reveals Cigano.

Predictions for Manaus

For the capital of Amazonas, the saint father predicts high unemployment, a drop in the economy, legal punishments, and Manaus being the refuge for many who are looking for a change in life and a place to start over.

“Manaus will go through a new flood, people getting sick from an almost deadly virus. High unemployment, businessmen leaving the city for lack of incentives, conditions and security. It shows here a drop in economy in the Manaus City Hall. Political friction, confusions, fights inside the Manaus City Hall. Legal punishments”, shares the saint father, who adds.

“There are new people entering the political environment and they are winning victories as a form of renewal. It shows here the issue of a very large population growth in the city. This is going to cause a certain difficulty in the development, many people coming to Manaus at the same time, which I say: people in search of a better life and those who can afford it, which are the entrepreneurs, leaving the city”, says Ronald Cigano.
